As a part of the 400th anniversary of the Visitation Order last year, the Second Federation of Visitation Monasteries in the U.S. selected social justice projects to gift with sizable grants.
Students Study in New Classroom
One awardee, The Mercy Project of Lare, Kenya, directed by Sister Rose Wangui, VHM of Georgetown Visitation, has implemented their gift by building a classroom for the education of young women. While the classroom still needs to be fine tuned it is already in use! Join us in rejoicing that these young women of Kenya can look forward to a blessed future of study and learning together!
