Guest1.: Sister, are you there?

Mar 18 2012, 7:21 PM

Sister : Yes Hi! What an insightful week I had

Guest 1: Please tell me all about it, I’d love to hear!

Sister : If the dissertation is true, St Francis de Sales deliberately chose interior rather than exterior austerities to counteract the Religious Wars in France and the violence people did to themselves as penitence and to counteract the massacres of people with differing beliefs

Guest 1: So he chose interior penances rather than the flagellationtype punishments I keep hearing about?

Sister : Exactly But it wasn’t even necessarily penances but LOVE : Love of neighbor to the nth degree

Guest 1: How did he do that? What kind of interior penance/sacrifice do you make

Mar 18 2012, 7:24 PM

Guest 1.: Oh, like St Therese’s Little Way?

Mar 18 2012, 7:25 PM

Sister : Mortification of the will and constant adherance to the spiritual directory which guides all inner movements

Mar 18 2012, 7:25 PM

Mar 18 2012, 8:04 PM

Mar 18 2012, 8:04 PM

Guest 1.: Is the devotion before the Tabernacle?

Sister : In spirit

Guest416 (guest): it’s amazing how so many people secretly are walking around with the Sacred Heart in their heart

Guest416 (guest): they ask that you pick an hour during the day and make a conscious thought of standing at the cross to be with Him

Sister : And it is the same hour everyday

Mar 18 2012, 8:31 PM

Sister : The theology of it is very rich

Guest416 (guest): I think the Divine Mercy is so beautiful – the other part of His Sacred Heart

Sister  One coin- 2 sides

Guest416 (guest): yes, the hr is the reparation Sister

Guest416 (guest): I think as we go deeper, it gets wider – everything seems to get pulled into His Heart: I think as we go deeper, it gets wider – everything seems to get pulled into His Heart

Guest 1.: That is a comforting thought

Mar 18 2012, 8:37 PM

Sister : That is expressed beautifully.

Guest416 (guest): all our intentions, reparations, etc. seems to just get pulled in and then all seems well

Mar 18 2012, 8:38 PM

Sister : And it is a mystical reality
