Here are some moments of the Palm Sunday chat:

 Apr 1 2012, 7:32 PM

Guest: Did you do all the traditional things?

Sister : We had a procession, the blesssings of palms of course

Guest: yes, and Father sprinkled us with holy water

Sister : We processed through the peoples Chapel into our choir and a novice and temporary professed Sr read the Passion with Father The chapel was full!

Guest: that must have been very special for them.

Guest.: I love it when the church is packed!

Sister : We have a good size group on Sundays but not as many as today

Apr 1 2012, 7:34 PM

Sister : The priest said something like “try to cry this week”

Guest: I think people are starting to realize that Easter really begins today, and they are curious to see what they’re missing.

Are you familiar with True Devotion?

Apr 1 2012, 7:40 PM

Guest.: no, but I have heard of St Louis

Sister : There is a consecration you make to the Blessed Mother with much preparation. Blessed John Paul 11 was very devoted to this form of devotion

Guest.: is it the thirty day devotion?

Apr 1 2012, 7:42 PM

Sister : Yes, or 33 days something like that

Guest: Some folks up at St Angela’s in Brea just did that and were consecrated at Mass one day

Sister  I did it once but did not repeat it annually

 It is beautiful.

Guest: I’m not sure what all it entails, but I do know it’s a serious vow, not to be made lightly
