We continue our “behind the scenes” visit to a Visitation Monastery Chapter Room where the Superior gives fervent little talks to her Sisters during Holy Week.
Mother Mary de Sales Chappuis, VHM said,” This last week of Lent should bring us new lights in a spirit of Faith, of constancy, and of love which will lead us to renew our Vow of Obedience in entire dependence on the Divine Will.
Our understanding must be enlightened and our will strengthened. We shall share in the merits of the Obedience of our Savior; we shall approach the Heart of God; we shall make progress in charity which will grow in us, and we shall grow in charity.
A very good will is always capable of doing one thing and when we devote ourselves to only one thing, we have more power to do it well.”
