She was born on July 30, 1888 in Puerto Real ( Cádiz) , but lived in the capital of Spain for most of her life. Her father Juan Antonio Cavestany , was a great writer and great poet . Her mother , Margarita Anduaga was a model of a strong woman The Lord blessed her with 16 children .
Teresa Maria had a great personality. All smiles in life. But she wanted to surrender to God , nothing stopped her and she entered the Monastery of the Visitation on December 18, 1914 . She wrote: ” I have but one desire , insatiable and immense. Desire, the thirst for God ! Only God ! ”
She was one of the seven who remained in Madrid in 1936. Jesus had prepared her for the Holocaust. And she dared not aspire to the Hidden sacrifice but with constant fidelity to his Will, she had the grace that she called ” too big and too much happiness … ” to shed her blood for Him.
