If you are a young woman in her 20’s or 30’s and have been pondering a vocation to the monastic, contemplative life, a Visitation community has been formed just for you!
In June of 2013, the Second Federation of the Visitation in the United States began a “community within a community” at our Georgetown Visitation Monastery in Washington, D.C.
This new community is the St. Jane de Chantal Gallery Community and its purpose is vocational, to provide a vibrant environment for young women within an established Visitation Monastery.
Two Professed Sisters nurture the new members. Currently one pre-postulant has joined them, and others are exploring this possibility for their lives.
