What better love story than Jesus with His Sacred Heart loving humanity? In return for this gift, we respond , as we are invited by Sister Marie of the Sacred Heart Bernaud , to this clarion call :
“My child , give me thy heart ! Is not this the most precious gift of all that the Lord asks us in this month of the feast of the Sacred Heart ? Approaching the Heart of his God , the poor human heart is stripped of his weaknesses, his misery, his own love . A heart coming to Jesus is no longer a selfish heart , the divine love expands, ennobles it..Expanded , refined , elevated , it becomes capable of all devotion . Witness the heart of the saints, it is because they have turned their heart by devotion to the divine love, that they became magnanimous , admirable , heroic .
To have the heart of man, God continues his tender advances of amorous provocations and quenches bitter disappointments or unspeakable pain Very happy hearts become the conquest of divine love. In this blessed month , all honor guards give their heart to the Divine Heart of Jesus: ” Sacred Heart of Jesus , give me fyour love to share, I love you forever and ever more.” And we will respond to his supplication : “My son , give me thy heart ! ”
