On the glorious Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother, August 15, 2014, Brooklyn novice Sister Synthia pronounced her first vows of poverty, chastity and obedience for three years, receiving the name Sister Synthia Helena.

The Chapel congregation included her family and friends from California and Michigan, some of Sister’s students from Visitation Academy, as well as faculty members and Principal, Mrs. Figaro.

Other guests included alums and our regular chapel attendees.

Father Richard Bretone was the celebrant from our Parish of St. Patrick’s, Bay Ridge.

Please pray for Sister Synthia Helena as she continues her spiritual journey with us.
