We continue Advent reflections from our archives:
We must consecrate the holy time of Advent to honor the mystery of the Incarnation of the Son of God; to unite ourselves to the praises and adoration, to the love and thanksgiving, which He renders to His Father in the womb of His Mother; above all during the Holy Mass and in the Divine Office; we must contemplate with profound respect the dispositions and movements of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, of His Holy Soul, of all His Divine Being towards the Sovereign Majesty; the oblation which He made of Himself to be the victim of all the sins of the world.
Let us make profound reflections on this, to bring us to love and gratitude for such a good and charitable deliverer. What miracles He has wrought!
Let us adore His infinite mercy in the treaty of peace which He has satisfied with His Father, which is our salvation.
Let us unite ourselves to this Divine Sacrifice!
