1. Have you ever been ridiculed for being “devout” or heard of Christians described as “boring”? Why do you think outsiders consider the devout life to be a negative thing?
  2. How does true devotion, for example, “cure the poor of sadness, and the rich of presumption”? What is it about devotion that it is meant for everyone?
  3. How can your life be made “more sweet” with true devotion?

Hi Dawn!

Feb 7 2016, 7:15 PM

Lisa C: Hi Mother and Dawn! Welcome back, Mother.

Feb 7 2016, 7:16 PM

Sister Susan Marie: Hi Lisa Thank you Got back yesterday

Feb 7 2016, 7:16 PM

Lisa C: I bet it was wonderful

Feb 7 2016, 7:17 PM

Sister Susan Marie: It was incredible to see 4000 religious all in one place!

Judy K: How was your “Roman Holiday”, Mother?

Judy K: I was looking for you during the Papal Audience but I did not see you.

Sister Susan Marie: I was in the second row at the Papal Audience, on the left

Judy K: At one point I thought I might have seen you up in the front. Perhaps I was right.

Lisa C: Did you see JPII

Dawn L: 4000 religious all together…how beautiful!

Feb 7 2016, 7:21 PM

Sister Susan Marie: I’ll have to watch and see I was next to Sr Lioba who was visible I think

Feb 7 2016, 7:21 PM

Sister Susan Marie: I think I passed JP11 We only had one short nite inside St Peter’s and we were rushed to our seats

Lisa C: Pieta, Moses, etc.

,

Judy K: I was awed just seeing all of you on TV. It was wonderful to see so many of you. I am sure that the Holy Father was delighted to have so many of you present.

Feb 7 2016, 7:22 PM

Sister Susan Marie: Very disappointed that I did not have time inside the Basilica but we were meeting – long days

Judy K: Had you ever been to Rome before?

Judy K: Perhaps you will have an opportunity to return and see those things you missed this time.

Sister Susan Marie: No never been . Yes a return mite happen- one never knows Bishop Carballo wants to do this event every 3 years he said

Judy K: It truly is a magnificent city with so much to see besides the Vatican.

Judy K: Where in the world did 4000 religious stay?

Feb 7 2016, 7:27 PM

Sister Susan Marie: How did last week’s chat go? I was 6 hours ahead and fast asleep!!

Lisa C: It went very well

Feb 7 2016, 7:27 PM

Sister Susan Marie: They stayed all over town 38 Visitandfines stayed with Srs of Charity Carmelites at a Don Bosco hotel

Dawn L: I always enjoy chats and learn things too

Sister Susan Marie: All paid for by the Holy See!!!

16, 7:28 PM

Judy K: I am sure that not all congregations have foundations in Rome. I think that last week’s chat went quite well. There was a great deal of participaton.

Feb 7 2016, 7:28 PM

Judy K: Hey, kudos to Don Bosco!

Sister Susan Marie: That is great!!!

Dawn L: and maybe 15 online

Sister Susan Marie: Wow! Too bad no one saved it.

31 PM

Lisa C: Holy, religious,

Feb 7 2016, 7:32 PM

Michelle P Olivier: Committed

Feb 7 2016, 7:32 PM

Lisa C: Zealous

Feb 7 2016, 7:32 PM

Judy K: I have not been personally ridiculed for being devoted, but my faith has been ridiculed by a colleague. It was during a radio broadcast of Jackie Onassis’ funeral. He asked me if i really believed all that nonsense. He was Jewish. I took him aside and told him that I did not ridicule his faith and asked him to give me the same courtesy. There was not enough time to go into a real explanation of the faith. Hopefully he could see it in my life.

Feb 7 2016, 7:32 PM

Guest432 (guest): Committed to Jesus Christ !

Lisa C: The first question feels kind of personal, because even people close to me have kind of thought of it negatively at times

Judy K: I think outsiders think the devout life to be a negative thing because they do not understand it, probably have never explored it, or asked about it.

MMichelle P Olivier: I haven’t been ridiculed – but I don’t think they understand why someone would be devout. They don’t understand the personal relationship with God.

Natachaguess (guest): There was a time when I thought devotion was boring, until I received the grace to find sweetness in prayer

Feb 7 2016, 7:37 PM

Lisa C: I think some people are negative about it because they are afraid of God

Natachaguess (guest): I believe that devotion is an inner disposition and relationship with the Lord and people who don’t have that yet just have not experience the Lord in this manner yet

Judy K: And devotion is never boring, even if can be frustrating at times, especially during cry spells.

Guest9892 (guest): I have been ridiculed, particularly for chastity. But others think my life is boring because it lacks booze, bars, sex, dirty language, etc..it’s hard for some people to realize they are much greater and joyful things in life

Feb 7 2016, 7:38 PM

Michelle P Olivier: Afraid of God Lisa, can you say more

Feb 7 2016, 7:38 PM

Judy K: Uh that should be dry spells.

Feb 7 2016, 7:38 PM

Guest432 (guest): The people of the world are more comfortable with followers they are uncomfortable with true followers of Jesus because they are separated from God . Our presence is uncomfortable but a beginning for them on their journey towards Jesus !

Feb 7 2016, 7:38 PM

Ruth (guest): I was ridiculed by my own father and sometimes by my mother for attending daily Mass, but as I think I’ve told you, my father became a convert to Catholicism on his deathbed. And I prayed with my mother (in French, her first language) when she was dying.

Feb 7 2016, 7:38 PM

Natachaguess (guest): people ridicule what they do not understand. Yet those same people will come to the devout in time of trials and tribulations.

Feb 7 2016, 7:39 PM

Natachaguess (guest): exactly Ruth

Feb 7 2016, 7:39 PM

Guest9892 (guest): Amen Natachaguess!

Feb 7 2016, 7:39 PM

Lisa C: Michelle, some people are just afraid of God and hell

Feb 7 2016, 7:39 PM

Dawn L: Yes, Natachaguess!

PM

Natachaguess (guest): Blessed Mother of Medjugorje said once to pray until prayer becomes a joy for you.

Feb 7 2016, 7:40 PM

Judy K: They have a negative God image, seeing Him as a harsh taskmaster, someone Who is watching and taking note of every bad thing we do.

0 PM

Guest9892 (guest): People at work won’t talk about what they did at a bar last night, but I’m am glad that they feel comfortable enough with me to come to me in time of sorrow or crisis.

Feb 7 2016, 7:40 PM

Lisa C: I think they think that they have to do everything on their own power so they are afraid

Feb 7 2016, 7:40 PM

Michelle P Olivier: Does that fear of God and hell make them ridicule – so they have a negative image

Feb 7 2016, 7:41 PM

Judy K: They have never come to know the loving, merciful forgiving God Whom we know.

Feb 7 2016, 7:41 PM

Guest432 (guest): It is a privilege for us to bring Jesus into the darkest places and to the people living in darkness ! It’s our job ! Our Joy !

Guest9892

M

Natachaguess (guest): How can life be made more sweet with devotion. We have to get to a place where other’s opinion don’t affect how we feel towards God. It takes courage to show our faith in the world this days.

Feb 7 2016, 7:42 PM

Guest9892 (guest): I have to admit I did not ridicule the devout life, but I felt more comfortable straddling the fence. Didn’t want to be too religious,

Feb 7 2016, 7:42 PM

Judy K: Perhaps ridicule is born of fear and is a need to attack before being attacked.

Feb 7 2016, 7:42 PM

Michelle P Olivier: So, in that case – is it because the grace is not there?

Feb 7 2016, 7:42 PM

Dawn L: and..the worldly influences can be strong. it often is when one experiences pain and are abandoned by everything and everyone that they will see Jesus

PM

Natachaguess (guest): I think we become devout without realizing it.

Feb 7 2016, 7:43 PM

Guest432 (guest): The attacks are a beginning for them! Otherwise they would not say anything at all !

Feb 7 2016, 7:43 PM

Guest9892 (guest): Right on Dawn! That was my path. And yes, I think it is all about grac

43 PM

Natachaguess (guest): we just find ourselves more and more drawn to prayer

Feb 7 2016, 7:43 PM

Judy K: Some may be so afraid that they are unable to cooperate with grace, or unwilling.

16, 7:44 PM

Michelle P Olivier: Because God has called us to Himself Natacha :44 PM

Natachaguess (guest): I wonder if the attacks are not underlined by subconscious awareness that something is happening in the devout person. Otherwise why attack and ridicule that person?

Feb 7 2016, 7:44 PM

Michelle P Olivier: Yes, I think it is a response to the grace. We are free to accept or decline

PM

Natachaguess (guest): Amen Michelle

Feb 7 2016, 7:45 PM

Lisa C: I think people think we are not having fun, because we do not seek worldly things

Feb 7 2016, 7:45 PM

Judy K: For the fearful, a response to grace might be taking a risk. They have no idea where it might take them and might not want to find out.

Feb 7 2016, 7:46 PM

Lisa C: They think we are missing something, but I do not feel like I am missing anything

Feb 7 2016, 7:46 PM

Guest9892 (guest): But I also think that people who are more pharisaical than Christian are what people think is devout. After all, look how popular Pope Francis is. People don’t realize that that is what devout life SHOULD look like.

Feb 7 2016, 7:46 PM

Natachaguess (guest): What they look for in the “fun” things of the world, we find in the sweetness of connection with God.

Feb 7 2016, 7:46 PM

Michelle P Olivier: Could also be images they have from some type of experience with a “devout” person

6, 7:47 PM

Natachaguess (guest): I agree with you Michelle

Feb 7 2016, 7:47 PM

Guest432 (guest): We must show our Faith in our actions soo that others will see and join our Family with Jesus forever !

Feb 7 2016, 7:47 PM

Ruth (guest): Good point 9892

16, 7:48 PM

Ruth (guest): Yes 432

Feb 7 2016, 7:48 PM

Natachaguess (guest): If I am devoutly praying and someone interrupts me I should react with gentleness since I was just in communication with the Meek and Gentle of Heart

Feb 7 2016, 7:48 PM

Judy K: They also do not realize the great joy that we have in our devotion. Because devotion brings us into a deeper union with the Lord, we can face difficulties with joy, peace and a positive attitude. encouraging the poor to seek devotion, to come closer to the Lord, will fill them with joy to counteract their status in ife.

PM

Natachaguess (guest): Yes Judy. Devotion is an alive and inner dialogue and not just outward postures

Feb 7 2016, 7:50 PM

Guest432 (guest): Amen !

Feb 7 2016, 7:50 PM

Judy K: Notice in films, poor Catholics, say in Africa, seem to smile especially the children. Devotion is meant for everyone because of what Vatican II calls the “universal call to holiness.” Devotion leas to holiness.

6, 7:50 PM

Ruth (guest): Lisa, you work in the mental health field, don’t you? Do you know of any Christian/Catholic Mental Health Practioner Professional organizations?

Feb 7 2016, 7:50 PM

Judy K: Leads to holiness.

1 PM

Natachaguess (guest): Does anyone remember when they noticed that they were devout? 1 PM

Natachaguess (guest): Does anyone remember when they noticed that they were devout?

Feb 7 2016, 7:51 PM

Ruth (guest): Oh, interesting medical specialty.

Feb 7 2016, 7:52 PM

Judy K: Ruth, you could probably google Association of Catholic Mental Health Professionals and come up with something.

Feb 7 2016, 7:52 PM

Ruth (guest): I guess I never really applied the term “devout”to myself.

Feb 7 2016, 7:52 PM

Sister Susan Marie: I remember becoming more entranced with the Blessed Sacrament but not realizing that I was practising devotion

Feb 7 2016, 7:52 PM

Guest432 (guest): We live in a very very hypervigilant world people really can pick out a devout follower of Jesus !

16, 7:53 PM

Michelle P Olivier: I always had a close relationship with God, so I wouldn’t be able to identify a specific time when I “became devout” – it was a relationship that deepened as time went on. 7:53 PM

Guest9892 (guest): I think others called me devout before I ever did…sometimes I still struggle to call myself that because I realize my own imperfections more than they do. I do desire it though

Feb 7 2016, 7:53 PM

Natachaguess (guest): There was a psychiatrist who is Catholic and very devout. She was the guess speaker at a Magnificat breakfast a few week ago in Texas, I believe she practices in California

Feb 7 2016, 7:53 PM

Judy K: Same here Michelle.

53 PM

Lisa C: I think being with devout nuns in school taught us devotion without knowing it 4 PM

Ruth (guest): I think that somehow, maybe even now, I’ve always thought of myself as a Seeker of Truth,Love, Meaning.

Feb 7 2016, 7:54 PM

Lisa C: We just had ongoing conversations with Jesus and Blessed Mother from the beginning

7:54 PM

Natachaguess (guest): That is very nice Lisa, you were blessed PM

Natachaguess (guest): I find myself devoted not because I want to but because I am so thirsty for inner peace and that connection I have with the Lord when I pray or spend time with Him in the Blessed Sacrament

Feb 7 2016, 7:55 PM

Judy K: So true, Lisa. I know that I had deep conversations with Jesus and Mary from a fairly early age. I would say that I fell in love with Jesus when I was around 8 or 9. I wonder if that is devotion.

Feb 7 2016, 7:56 PM

Guest432 (guest): Amen Lisa !!Sister Richard was the first truly devout Christian I ever met ! I will never forget her love for me through Jesus !

Feb 7 2016, 7:56 PM

Ruth (guest): Yes, it seems you’ve gained a real groundedness, Lisa, through your experience with the Visitation Sisters, when you were growing up.

Feb 7 2016, 7:56 PM

Sister Susan Marie: The question about devotion Curing “sadness” I found interesting; being with the Lord can calm one

Feb 7 2016, 7:56 PM

Natachaguess (guest): Wow!! that is so wonderful Lisa

56 PM

Natachaguess (guest): Absolutely Mother Susan. There is an inner state of heart that only Jesus can calm

Feb 7 2016, 7:57 PM

Lisa C: Sadness is still there, but it feels like it is a small thing compared with the greatness of having God

Feb 7 2016, 7:57 PM

Judy K: The Lord’s love can surely take away sadness, or mitigate it to a great extent.

Feb 7 2016, 7:57 PM

Natachaguess (guest): I call Jesus the Holy Dryer of Tears, He always dries mines

Feb 7 2016, 7:57 PM

Guest9892 (guest): I have often asked if there have been less troubles in my life since I surrendered to Jesus or do I simply not make mountains out of molehills because my priorities are where they should be.

16, 7:58 PM

Judy K: Natacha, what a lovely title for Jesus!

Feb 7 2016, 7:58 PM

Ruth (guest): How sweet, Natahaguess/

7:58 PM

Natachaguess (guest): The beauty about God is that He can go where no one can go on the inside and He changes us without us doing anything but being present to him. , 7:59 PM

Judy K: He works silently and invisibly like yeast. PM

Michelle P Olivier: The Divine Physician

Feb 7 2016, 7:59 PM

Natachaguess (guest): and that would be what we hope the one who ridicule us would see.

Feb 7 2016, 7:59 PM

Ruth (guest): Yes, that presence is so important. I think that is why I like to spend so much time with the Blessed Sacrament.

Feb 7 2016, 7:59 PM

Lisa C: Prayer results in changes that seem to be coming without effort

Feb 7 2016, 8:00 PM

Judy K: But from time to time, His activity bubbles up within us and we almost dance, or actually sing because of His work in us.

Feb 7 2016, 8:00 PM

Michelle P Olivier: Yes, those are moments of consolation to take us through the tough times

Feb 7 2016, 8:00 PM

Natachaguess (guest): Prayers changes us. Blessed Mother says that prayer works miracles

Feb 7 2016, 8:00 PM

Guest432 (guest): Jesus wants us to grow ! All good teachers challenge their students in areas they are weak ! Trials help us to grow closer to our Lord Jesus ! They also help us to comfort others !

2 PM

Judy K: Doesn’t Paul say something like that in Colossians-that we are being comforted so that we might, in turn comfort others?

Feb 7 2016, 8:02 PM

Natachaguess (guest): Yes

Feb 7 2016, 8:02 PM

Michelle P Olivier: Yes, Guest432 – our trials enable us to understand what others are experiencing

3 PM

Natachaguess (guest): I find that my trials bring me closer to Jesus and He acts in miraculous ways. sometimes it seems as if all we go through are trials and tribulation, yet He never tires of consoling us and bringing us deeper.

Feb 7 2016, 8:03 PM

Ruth (guest): With God there is the strength to defy the spirit of sadness and hopelessness.

Feb 7 2016, 8:03 PM

Judy K: And because of our experience, we might be able to offer them assistance in coping with their own troubles.

Feb 7 2016, 8:03 PM

Dawn L: Hi Sr Mary Roberta!

Feb 7 2016, 8:03 PM

Judy K: Hi Sister and 9892 and 6575!

Feb 7 2016, 8:03 PM

Michelle P Olivier: Hi Sr. Mary Roberta

Feb 7 2016, 8:03 PM

Guest432 (guest): How could we truly comfort someone who is depressed if we have not experienced depression !

Feb 7 2016, 8:03 PM

Natachaguess (guest): Only Jesus makes this life on earth make sense

Feb 7 2016, 8:03 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: Hello! Recovering from the funeral of our dear Sr. Mary de Sales McNabb…

4 PM

Judy K: So sorry to hear that Sister. May she dwell for all eternity in the loving arms of Jesus.

Feb 7 2016, 8:04 PM

Ruth (guest): Hello Sr. M. Roberta and new guests.

Feb 7 2016, 8:04 PM

Dawn L: Very sorry for your loss

Feb 7 2016, 8:04 PM

Natachaguess (guest): my condolences

Feb 7 2016, 8:05 PM

Guest6575 (guest): Empathy is so much more than just sympathy. Loop

6 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: How special!

Feb 7 2016, 8:06 PM

Lisa C: May she rest in peace with Jesus

Feb 7 2016, 8:06 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: She was definitely a GIANT among us!

Feb 7 2016, 8:06 PM

Natachaguess (guest): She sees now what we believe in faith

Feb 7 2016, 8:06 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: Yes, so true!

Feb 7 2016, 8:06 PM

Guest6575 (guest): Howvlomg had Sr Mary de Sales been with the community

Feb 7 2016, 8:07 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: 68 years, I think they said.

Feb 7 2016, 8:07 PM

Natachaguess (guest): Wow!!!

PM

Natachaguess (guest): How beautiful is that???

Feb 7 2016, 8:07 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: and she was a creative and much-loved teacher of math, physics, and computers

Feb 7 2016, 8:08 PM

Lisa C: How many Sisters do you have at Georgetown, Sr Mary Roberta?

Feb 7 2016, 8:08 PM

Guest6575 (guest): What a gift from God!

Feb 7 2016, 8:08 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: not to mention years as Mother Superior – alternating with Sr. Philomena, who also has Alzheimers – how strange is that!

8:08 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: probably 16, Lisa

Feb 7 2016, 8:09 PM

Guest432 (guest): Soo hard when we lose such a close friend Sister !

Feb 7 2016, 8:09 PM

Natachaguess (guest): I believe sisters like her played a role in my conversion.

9 PM

Ruth (guest): There are close spiritual friends in my life who are with the Lord now. I miss them — being able to sit together and talk — very much even years later, but maybe having known a couple of “giants” helps us/me anyway, be ever more oriented toward the life to come, even, sometimes long for the completions that I imagine comes with knowing God face-to-face.

Feb 7 2016, 8:09 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: She certainly played a role in the faith-growth of generations of our students! The auditorium where her Mass was celebrated was packed.

Feb 7 2016, 8:09 PM

Guest6575 (guest): So many prayers needed! :*(

Feb 7 2016, 8:10 PM

Judy K: I follow “The Cloistered Heart” and the blogger has been relating her experience during a retreat at Georgetown. It had a profound effect on her and was contributory to her seeking to have a cloistered heart.

Feb 7 2016, 8:10 PM

Natachaguess (guest): What was her name again please?

Feb 7 2016, 8:11 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: Sr. Mary de Sales McNabb

Feb 7 2016, 8:11 PM

Natachaguess (guest): thank you, I will pray for her and to her

Feb 7 2016, 8:11 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: Thank you! 8:12 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: It was hard to recognize her body in the coffin because we always identified her by her open smile and the twinkle in her eye.

Feb 7 2016, 8:12 PM

Guest6575 (guest): I, too, remember reading about her.

Feb 7 2016, 8:13 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: We praise God for having had such a wonderful example in Sister, who was definitely a “LIVING RULE.”

Feb 7 2016, 8:13 PM

Natachaguess (guest): I worked as a hospice nurse for many years and we never get use to death

Feb 7 2016, 8:13 PM

Guest6575 (guest): Whatva beautiful memory, SMR!

Feb 7 2016, 8:13 PM

Ruth (guest): Love that description of her, Sr. Mary Roberta.

Feb 7 2016, 8:14 PM

Natachaguess (guest): She has a beatified smile now.

Feb 7 2016, 8:14 PM

Judy K: She was a true daughter of the one for whom she was named.

PM

Mary Roberta Viano: and now we count on her intercession for us in her closer presence to God

Feb 7 2016, 8:15 PM

Natachaguess (guest): what a consolation to know that sisters have prayed for us on earth and are now praying even more for us in heaven.

Feb 7 2016, 8:15 PM

Lisa C: How old was she Sister,

Feb 7 2016, 8:15 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: 85

PM

Judy K: She must have had that sweetness which St. Francis describes in this piece.

Feb 7 2016, 8:16 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: true, Judy

Feb 7 2016, 8:16 PM

Ruth (guest): I find myself, again, humming, “Joyful, Joyful, we adore Thee,God of Mercy, God of Love . . . ”

Feb 7 2016, 8:16 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: a sweet exuberance and joy

PM

Guest432 (guest): What a joy Sister to be able to live in the presence of someone who Shined soo bright for Jesus !

Feb 7 2016, 8:18 PM

Natachaguess (guest): What was her favorite devotion?

Feb 7 2016, 8:18 PM

Judy K: Devotion can make life sweeter if we keep our eyes and our hearts and minds trained on Jesus and imitate His gentleness and kindness (sweetness) and also on saints like Therese of Lisieux. Now sweet was she to even to those who heavily criticized her, or were even cruel to her. She always responded with patience and kindness. We can try to imitate her and the kind and gentle St. Francis de Sales.

Feb 7 2016, 8:18 PM

Guest6575 (guest): Simply Living+Jesus

Feb 7 2016, 8:19 PM

Judy K: That should be How sweet was she

Feb 7 2016, 8:20 PM

Guest6575 (guest): St Therese is my favorite saint!

Feb 7 2016, 8:20 PM

Natachaguess (guest): I love Saint Therese, she helps me a lot.

Feb 7 2016, 8:20 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: Sister loved to pray the rosary while walking around campus.

Feb 7 2016, 8:20 PM

Judy K: I think that she was the first saint to whom I was attracted.

Welcome to our Living Jesus Chat Room. Just sign in, using any of the methods below.

Feb 7 2016, 8:21 PM

Natachaguess (guest): How beautiful, she spread rose petals of love on campus

1 PM

Ruth (guest): Sr. Susan Marie, I think it was, who recently was talking/writing about the importance of Simplicity.

Feb 7 2016, 8:21 PM

Judy K: You must have a beautiful heart, Natacha! You say such beautiful things.

21 PM

Natachaguess (guest): I see beauty is this conversation.

Feb 7 2016, 8:22 PM

Guest6575 (guest): I agree!

6, 8:22 PM

Ruth (guest): I’d been thinking about the meaning of simplicty. Maybe what it means is desiring ONE thing above all else. 2 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: right, Ruth

Feb 7 2016, 8:22 PM

Natachaguess (guest): You how people say that you have a life review when you pass? I wonder what it feels like to look back with God on our prayer time?

6, 8:23 PM

Guest6575 (guest): I agree= to see nothing but Christ everything and in everyone!

Feb 7 2016, 8:23 PM

Ruth (guest): I see that in you, too — fellow chatters.

Feb 7 2016, 8:23 PM

Judy K: To desire ONE thing above all else-let that one thing be holiness.

Feb 7 2016, 8:23 PM

Natachaguess (guest): How does one do that? see Christ in everyone and in everything?

Feb 7 2016, 8:23 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: Sister taught me to always look forward in hope to God’s future, loving and serving Him all the while.

Feb 7 2016, 8:24 PM

Guest432 (guest): Simplicity can be a demonstration of a true heart for God !

Feb 7 2016, 8:24 PM

Guest6575 (guest): And gratefulness

Feb 7 2016, 8:24 PM

Lisa C: Natacha, I think God does it for you

Feb 7 2016, 8:24 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: yes, definitely gratefulness!

Feb 7 2016, 8:24 PM

Judy K: Perhaps we should ask Jesus to give us His eyes so that we may see people as He does, and all things as He does.

Feb 7 2016, 8:24 PM

Natachaguess (guest): How do see God in someone who is getting on your nerve? excuse the expression!

:25 PM

Mary Roberta Viano: yes, Judy, not see them with our narrow vision

Feb 7 2016, 8:25 PM

Michelle P Olivier: That is grace

Feb 7 2016, 8:25 PM

Lisa C: Natacha see the pain of the person getting on your nerves.

Feb 7 2016, 8:25 PM

Ruth (guest): Look back on our prayer time? Sometimes I do that by reading one of my prayer journals.
