Wed of the Fourth Week of Lent

“Can a woman forget her infant, have no more tenderness for the child of her womb? Even if she forget, I will not forget you. (Isaiah 49:15)

Let the world scold it as long as it pleases against me alone, it does not make me hot (it does not matter to me) since he who rules over all the angelic spirits is my protector. (Saint Francis de Sales, EA XXII, 25)

The love of God is infinite. He is madly in love with you who read this passage, He is madly in love with each one of us. Who is God to love us thus?
