Before retiring, thank God for all the blessings of the day. Glance briefly over your thoughts, words, moods, feelings and actions. If you discover a fault, examine your motivation, ask God’s pardon and resolve to amend. Always be faithful to this practice!
Recommend to God’s care your soul and body, the Church, your relatives, and friends. Ask the Blessed Virgin, your Guardian Angel, and the Saints to watch over you. Then, with God’s blessing upon you, seek the rest which He desires for you.
