We have received the great news that Ven. Louis Brisson will be beatified in Troyes, France on September 22, 2012.
Troyes is the historic city in which he founded the two congregations of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales(Priests and Brothers; and Sisters)
Troyes is also home to the Visitation Monastery in which Ven. Mother Mary de Sales Chappuis was Superior. Mother Chappuis was the strong and committed encourager behind the Oblate Founder.

Saturday Sept. 22nd- the Beatification will take place in the Cathedral of Troyes at 3 or 3:30PM. Cardinal Angelo Amato will preside.
On Sunday Sept 23rd, a Thanksgiving ceremony will also occur in Plancy, Ven. Brisson’s home town, at 10AM.
