Blessed Louis Brisson, OSFS, the Founder of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, was beatified a year ago, September 2012.
Today his Feast is celebrated in the Diocese of Troyes, France and in the Congregations he founded, the Oblate Fathers and Brothers, and Oblate Sisters of St. Francis de Sales.
May the wisdom and the Salesian spirit of this holy priest continue to spread and inspire, as well as draw in a closer bond all Salesians, especially the Visitandines and Oblates.
