Contagious Love is Shown by These Religious Sisters
Five Catholic sisters from different orders share their response to the vocation of religious life in the beautiful and compelling documentary “Light of Love”. As our Pope Francis writes in Lumen Fidei,
“For the light of love is born when our hearts are touched and we open ourselves to the interior presence of the beloved, who enables us to recognize his mystery.”
These Sisters have given their lives and hearts to their Savior, serving Christ’s people though many different ministries, from nursing to running soup kitchens to ministering on college campuses. One Sister describes her vocation:
“I feel fulfilled beyond what I could even express. Again, it’s something quite amazing where words can’t always put it into context…you can’t contain it. God will never stop giving, I’ll never stop understanding Him and He’s calling me to experience His love and to give His love, and that is inexhaustible; it’s constantly coming and I am constantly giving… it’s never ending and that’s what is going to happen hopefully one day when we get to heaven… but as far as being fulfilled… this is what is meant for me.”
