We conclude our Advent series with Blessed Louis Brisson, OSFS.
Sunday December 22
The Feast of Christmas is the mystery of Divine Love. With the little child Jesus, we will continue to save the world today.
Monday December 23
The grace of Christmas is acquiesence to the Divine Will.
We must be careful to bring to the Infant Jesus what He asks of us.
Noel! Noel! How joyfully souls go to this little King! The little child Jesus comes to us! It is He whom we will possess one day in heaven.
Christmas, Wed. December 25
Each one of us must carry our little flower to the crib. These flowers are symbolic. The rose symbolizes charity, the violet, humility, the carnation, fidelity, the ivy, attachment to God. Let us ask the Savior Jesus to extend his hand to bless us all.
Thursday December 26
The coming and going to the crib of our Lord should be continual. In our work we must transport ourselves to it constantly.
Friday December 27
You are happier than the shepherds and the magi. They have seen Him but you possess Him.
Let us carry gifts to the Savior, souls more precious than the shepherds’ gifts
Saturday December 28
Divine Infant Jesus, allow us to embrace and kiss your feet, to adore you and to love you.
