“Building on a friendship that has flourished for centuries between the Sisters of the Visitation and the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), Wheeling Jesuit University opened its “Mount de Chantal Conservatory of Music at Wheeling Jesuit University” November 16-17, 2013. This new suite of fine-arts spaces honors the legacy of the Sisters and the school that they operated for 160 years, and continues their commitment to the fine arts by providing Wheeling Jesuit students with a central space for performance, practice, art exhibition and instruction.”
