During this Year of Consecrated Life, special grace abounds and a Brooklyn Novice responded with the pronouncing of her first vows on Saturday, November 21st, receiving the new name of Sister Mary Elizabeth.

Sister Mary Elizabeth, from Fargo, North Dakota, invited her spiritual director, Fr. Peter Sharpe, of Fargo, to preside at the Eucharistic Liturgy.
Her family traveled from North Dakota as well, to be present at this beautiful testimony to her faith.
Since this Profession was celebrated on the Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Mother, when all Visitandines renew their holy vows, the Brooklyn community of Sisters also renewed theirs during this Profession Mass.
