On July 2, 1688, St. Margaret Mary had a grand vision. The Virgin appeared to her near the Sacred Heart of Jesus, St. Francis de Sales, Father Claude de La Colombiere and the Daughters of the Visitation who surrounded His throne. Mary said, pointing to the Heart of Jesus: “This is a divine treasure that is made particularly evident by the tender love that my Son has for your Institute. You must not only profit form the inexhaustible treasury of this Heart, but you must distribute this valuable currency, trying to enrich everyone. “Then the Virgin addressed Fr. de La Colombiere:” If it is given to the Daughters of the Visitation to know and distribute it to others, it is for Fathers of the Society of Jesus to see and know its utility and value.”
