VisitationSiste: Questions to ponder What moves the progress of the soul from union to unity? Does the oneness described here make us a saint? Wherein would be the difference? Can you grow in oneness with God without perceiving it? Does it need your cooperation? What kind of cooperation? Think of the progression described in the last paragraph above: of the creation of man, this union being undone by Adam’s sin, the Incarnation, and the holy Eucharist. How does the Eucharist “round out” or complete, God’s gift o

Apr 8, 7:26 PM

VisitationSiste: Yes it is a group of vrs Salesians

Apr 8, 7:27 PM

VisitationSiste: How was Easter?

Apr 8, 7:27 PM

Carroll (Guest): Unfortunately, I will be called away for dinner in a few minutes, but I wanted to at least be here for a little while this evening... trusting everyone had a beautiful Easter-

Apr 8, 7:28 PM

VisitationSiste: Yes- so we both have to leave early today

Apr 8, 7:29 PM

VisitationSiste: Hello guest!

Apr 8, 7:29 PM

Carroll (Guest): Easter was good... the family I am working with is one in crisis, and the Lord’s grace was evident during the family gathering, which was quite peaceable. I am so grateful.

Apr 8, 7:30 PM

Carroll (Guest): Hello guest

Apr 8, 7:30 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Hi Sister Susan and Carrol ! God Bless You ! Brian

Apr 8, 7:31 PM

Apr 8, 7:32 PM

Jane (Guest): Hi Everyone

Apr 8, 7:32 PM

Jane (Guest): Happy belated Easter and Happy Divine Mercy

Apr 8, 7:32 PM

VisitationSiste: We sang the Chaplet today at 3Pm as a community to help keep the Feast

Apr 8, 7:33 PM

Jane (Guest): God bless. the Divine Mercy is so special.

Apr 8, 7:33 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Wonderful Sister Susan !!!

Apr 8, 7:33 PM

Carroll (Guest): Brian! Please pray for a grandson of the couple I am taking care of. He has just been sent to prison- drug related problems... I am praying fiercely that he will eventually encounter someone like you while he is there!

Apr 8, 7:33 PM

VisitationSiste: Welcome viewer

Apr 8, 7:34 PM

Judy (Guest): Hello All. Blessings on this Divine Mercy Sunday.

Apr 8, 7:34 PM

VisitationSiste: Friends I can only stay til 8PM tonite as I go to Detrit tomorrow and I need to have a little extra time

Apr 8, 7:34 PM

Jane (Guest): See if they have the Kolbe ministry in his prison- after St. Maxmillian Kolbe

Apr 8, 7:34 PM

Jane (Guest): Safe travels Mother

Apr 8, 7:34 PM

VisitationSiste: Hi Judy and Ruth- Happy Easter and Divine Mercy

Apr 8, 7:35 PM

VisitationSiste: Thank you

Apr 8, 7:35 PM

Carroll (Guest): Thanks, Jane. And Brian- you are with Kairos?

Apr 8, 7:36 PM

Judy (Guest): Mother, I have to be brutally honest with you. There is no way I can rearead of all Book VII between Thrusday and Sunday. It is just too much even though I am not working. I do have other responsibilities. May I suggest a maximum of three chapters a week. We aren’t trying to break a record for finishing the book, are we?

Apr 8, 7:36 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): I will pray for him Carroll . Please Jesus bring the right people into this young mans life who will disciple him and bring him to you Jesus . Jesus I Trust in You ! Amen !

Apr 8, 7:37 PM

VisitationSiste: No but I think the video absorbs a so much and that’s why it happens. Maybe one video for 2 weeks and then we split the chaPYETRS AND QUESTIONS?

Apr 8, 7:37 PM

VisitationSiste: so the newsletter can be a repeat somewhat?

Apr 8, 7:37 PM

Judy (Guest): I have not found the videos to be helpful at all.

Apr 8, 7:37 PM

VisitationSiste: Oh ok

Apr 8, 7:38 PM

Jane (Guest): I agree- the videos – while enjoyable are not quite so helpful

Apr 8, 7:38 PM

Carroll (Guest): Sorry to vear off topic... I DO trust this young man is in the hands of Divine Providence, and Divine Mercy Sunday is the best day ever to be reminded that the best way to overcome evil is to have complete confidence in the Love of God.

Apr 8, 7:38 PM

Jane (Guest): Amen – Carroll

Apr 8, 7:39 PM

VisitationSiste: So maybe it is all too much to discuss and think about so for tonite we can experiment and just answer part of the questions and next week the rest?

Apr 8, 7:39 PM

VisitationSiste: I have to tell the webmaster

Apr 8, 7:39 PM

Jane (Guest): sounds great

Apr 8, 7:39 PM

Carroll (Guest): I like the idea of one video every 2 weeks... to give us more time to process the reading.

Apr 8, 7:40 PM

VisitationSiste: For the first q1: What moves the progress of the soul from union to unity? I think it is prayer and relationship to God

Apr 8, 7:40 PM

Jane (Guest): agreed

Apr 8, 7:41 PM

Judy (Guest): Sure! Question 1 The progress of the soul from union to unity is made by particular acts and movements of the soul in prayer that moves it to be more and more united to his divine goodness. It is a kind of squeezing and pressing together so stron as to augment the union.

Apr 8, 7:41 PM

Dawn (Guest): Hi everyone! Happy Divine Mercy Sunday! just reading over chat, I agree to take parts of this, alot to absorb all aat once.

Apr 8, 7:43 PM

Judy (Guest): Am I the only who is having difficulty doing all of the reading?

Apr 8, 7:43 PM

Dawn (Guest): q1: ability to find quiet time, to be still so we can hear what he is placing in us

Apr 8, 7:43 PM

VisitationSiste: No I think you are not alone!

Apr 8, 7:43 PM

Judy (Guest): Well, that’s a relief!

Apr 8, 7:44 PM

VisitationSiste: I have read the work several times and so some of it is more familiar but it is a very heavy work

Apr 8, 7:44 PM

Dawn (Guest): you are not alone Judy

Apr 8, 7:44 PM

VisitationSiste: That is why they thought the videos would help but I guess they don’t

Apr 8, 7:45 PM

Judy (Guest): It is a heavy work and it takes a long time to read each chapter.

Apr 8, 7:45 PM

Judy (Guest): Especially when you have to read sections more than once to figure what is being said.

Apr 8, 7:46 PM

Jane (Guest): Might there be alternate instructional tool?

Apr 8, 7:46 PM

Judy (Guest): Figure out.

Apr 8, 7:46 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): When we Trust God and actually take the actions that He is asking us to do we become united to God’s Will !

Apr 8, 7:46 PM

VisitationSiste: No this is the only one I have except wait- there were discussion questions by another priest someplace Maybe I can locate

Apr 8, 7:47 PM

Judy (Guest): I still think that we need to have fewer chapters to read each week.

Apr 8, 7:47 PM

VisitationSiste: and being united to God’s Will is supreme

Apr 8, 7:47 PM

VisitationSiste: Yes how about 2 a week?

Apr 8, 7:48 PM

VisitationSiste: or maybe one a week

Apr 8, 7:48 PM

Judy (Guest): 2 or even three would be great!!

Apr 8, 7:48 PM

Ruth (Guest): No Judy you are not alone. Although you may be trying harder than some of us – myself anyway – to completely comprehend the readings. And, since I have readings for the Board of Directors of Our Lady of the Adirondacks House of Prayer, and other readings this is indeed a bit much . . . but I am glad to BE with all of you as we reflect together . . .

Apr 8, 7:48 PM

VisitationSiste: Ok- just need to work this out

Apr 8, 7:48 PM

Jane (Guest): Can you elborate on living God’s will

Apr 8, 7:48 PM

VisitationSiste: Complete oneness with God would make us saints

Apr 8, 7:49 PM

Jane (Guest): ?

Apr 8, 7:49 PM

Carroll (Guest): Bessings everyone- duties (and dinner) call... Will look forward to being back on schedule next week!

Apr 8, 7:49 PM

VisitationSiste: If His Will is the predominant motive of our life then we have surrendered to Him

Apr 8, 7:49 PM

VisitationSiste: Thanks for being here Carroll

Apr 8, 7:49 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Happy Easter Ruth , Judy , and Dawn ! God Bless You ! Brian

Apr 8, 7:49 PM

Dawn (Guest): bye Carroll. God Bless

Apr 8, 7:50 PM

Judy (Guest): Have a good week Carroll!

Apr 8, 7:50 PM

Dawn (Guest): Happy Easter to all!

Apr 8, 7:50 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): God Bless You Carrol !

Apr 8, 7:51 PM

Ruth (Guest): Bye Carroll; you’ve been contributing a lot.

Apr 8, 7:51 PM

Judy (Guest): I am not sure that oneness with God makes us a saint. it is, rather, the unity of clasping and pressing ourselves into God so that we are more surely and inrtimately united with Him in an incredible closensss of main and heart, so that we share one purpose, the sanctification of all.

Apr 8, 7:51 PM

Dawn (Guest): So, next week Mother how will we begin, the first two q of this week?

Apr 8, 7:52 PM

Judy (Guest): Closeness of mind and heart.

Apr 8, 7:52 PM

Ruth (Guest): Happy Easter to you, too, Brian and all of my Living Jesus Chat friends.

Apr 8, 7:52 PM

Ruth (Guest): Wow, Judy; that’s good: the sanctification of ALL!

Apr 8, 7:53 PM

VisitationSiste: This could be for next week if you want: Think of the progression described in
VisitationSiste: How does the Eucharist “round out” or complete, God’s gift of grace?

Apr 8, 7:54 PM

Judy (Guest): So we would begin next week with question 4? And what chapters should we read?

Apr 8, 7:54 PM

VisitationSiste: We do need to cooperate with God’s grace to grow in unity

Apr 8, 7:55 PM

VisitationSiste: I have to figure that out!

Apr 8, 7:55 PM

Ruth (Guest): That’s, Judy, part of the consecration to Jesus through Mary. EVERY merit of our prayers and good deeds are for Mary to enhance and “distribute” where they are most needed.

Apr 8, 7:56 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Saint Faustina willingness to suffer anything in order to help souls to come to Jesus . Truly united to God’s Will to Ssve every Soul !!!

Apr 8, 7:56 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Save Every Soul !!!

Apr 8, 7:57 PM

Judy (Guest): But we can grow in unity without perceiving it by allowing ourseves to be uited to the divine goodness without resistance. Sometimes we cooperate when we are drawn , we willingly run, to second the force of God’s goodness which draws us and slasps us to Him by love. The first might be called a passive unity in allowing God to work on and in us. the second would be active unity since we choose to move toward God in response to His drawing of us.

Apr 8, 7:58 PM

VisitationSiste: I will try to post that here and but I leave tomorrow – so maybe we just read book 7 chapters 4, 5?

Apr 8, 7:58 PM

Dawn (Guest): very helpful Judy

Apr 8, 7:59 PM

VisitationSiste: Blessings- ! I will try to get back to you!

Apr 8, 7:59 PM

Judy (Guest): That sounds great, Mother~!

Apr 8, 7:59 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Amen Judy !

Apr 8, 7:59 PM

Dawn (Guest): good plan Mother thank you! God bless you

Apr 8, 7:59 PM

Jane (Guest): Agreed.

Apr 8, 8:00 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Have. Wonderful Trip Sister Susan ! God Bless You !

Apr 8, 8:00 PM

Jane (Guest): Blessings everyone for a beautiful week full of the burning love from the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Safe travels Mother.

Apr 8, 8:01 PM

Judy (Guest): May Raphael the Archangel protect your flights there and back.

Apr 8, 8:01 PM

Ruth (Guest): Safe travels, A couple of days ago I was having a rough time, physical pain, frustration, and “environmental” triggers leading to flashbacks of trauma. After crying out to God for help, I immediately realized the “gift” was to offer prayer for the offenders, at least a decade of the Rosary for each; before you knew it I was able to carry on pretty much normally

Apr 8, 8:02 PM

Dawn (Guest): praise be to Jesus!

Apr 8, 8:02 PM

Judy (Guest): I think that reaching out to others always helps to lessen our own tribulations.

Apr 8, 8:03 PM

Ruth (Guest): Opps, tried to hit capital but hit return button instead. Safe travels, Sr. Susan – and productive meetings . . . I hope you are seeing solutions for the Monastery . . .

Apr 8, 8:03 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): You are a true General in the Lord’s Great Army Ruth !!!

Apr 8, 8:04 PM

Ruth (Guest): Brian, you make me laugh!

Apr 8, 8:04 PM

Dawn (Guest): Amen

Apr 8, 8:04 PM

Ruth (Guest): I can’t even organize my ordinary activities. . .

Apr 8, 8:04 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): You always inspire me Ruth !!!

Apr 8, 8:05 PM

Judy (Guest): Brian, you also are an inspiration, the way you handle your family, your prison ministry and this chat.

Apr 8, 8:06 PM

Dawn (Guest): the monastary....are there any ways we could help?

Apr 8, 8:07 PM

Dawn (Guest): thinking outloud

Apr 8, 8:07 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Powerful Lesson You Just Taught is Tonight Ruth ! Our enemy is always taking a risk when he attacks us . You turned his attack into a Great Victory for Jesus !

Apr 8, 8:07 PM

Judy (Guest): Dawn, I think that Mother has left us. You might want to pose that question again next week.

Apr 8, 8:08 PM

Ruth (Guest): Since my TBI and my bad surgery over a year ago – I feel wasted, like damaged goods, and that is only part of it. But I know, at least with my head, that God’s work can be accomplished in and through our weaknesses: that is up to us to at least do our part to let HIS GOODNESS shine through, the best we can.

Apr 8, 8:08 PM

Dawn (Guest): ok, thank you

Apr 8, 8:09 PM

Judy (Guest): TBI?

Apr 8, 8:09 PM

Ruth (Guest): Traumatic Brain Injury: three bad concussions in immediate succession.

Apr 8, 8:09 PM

Ruth (Guest): It’s changed me, but not my values.

Apr 8, 8:10 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Dawn you and everybody in this Chat have been incredible Friends and help to me and my Family ! Thank You All ! Thank You Jesus for our Living Jesus Chat !!!

Apr 8, 8:10 PM

Jane (Guest): Amen

Apr 8, 8:10 PM

Dawn (Guest): Amen!

Apr 8, 8:11 PM

Jane (Guest): Good night everyone. God bless you.

Apr 8, 8:11 PM

Judy (Guest): Oh my! But you are not wasted nor are you damaged property. You aer forever and instrument of God’s love in the world, and don’t let “the old boy” succeed in convincing you otherwise.

Apr 8, 8:11 PM

Dawn (Guest): Good night Jane, God Bless you

Apr 8, 8:11 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): God Bless You Jane !!!

Apr 8, 8:12 PM

Judy (Guest): Good night Jane. Have a blessed week/

Apr 8, 8:12 PM

Ruth (Guest): You, too, Brian, Dawn, Judy and Jane . . . It pretty amazing how God can bind us together through this clumsy medium. . . I am so grateful

Apr 8, 8:12 PM

Judy (Guest): And we are grateful for you and for each and every member of this troup.

Apr 8, 8:13 PM

Judy (Guest): Group

Apr 8, 8:13 PM

Jane (Guest): Thank you all. Much appreciated.

Apr 8, 8:13 PM

Dawn (Guest): It is throught our wounds that we are healed. think of Thomas reaching into Jesus wounds...or perhaps it is us reaching into Jesus wounds

Apr 8, 8:13 PM

Judy (Guest): Not to mention Jesus reaching into our wounds and bring healing and wholeness to us.

Apr 8, 8:13 PM

Jane (Guest): Dawn & Judy thank you for sharing your wisdom.

Apr 8, 8:13 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Amen Dawn !

Apr 8, 8:13 PM

Jane (Guest): It is very healing in deed

Apr 8, 8:14 PM

Dawn (Guest): I too am so grateful for all of you. Yes Judy!

Apr 8, 8:14 PM

Ruth (Guest): Thanks Judy. I won’t.

Apr 8, 8:15 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): We can do all things through Christ who Strengthens us !!!

Apr 8, 8:15 PM

Dawn (Guest): For whatever wounds we carry, this is where he enters with his light and perfect love

Apr 8, 8:15 PM

Judy (Guest): That is one of my favorite verses.

Apr 8, 8:16 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Amen !!!

Apr 8, 8:16 PM

Ruth (Guest): Sorry to see you leaving us, Jane.

Apr 8, 8:16 PM

Judy (Guest): I relied heavily on that verse when I was recovering from cancer and back surgery. I needed Him every step of the way.

Apr 8, 8:17 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Amen Judy !!!

Apr 8, 8:17 PM

Ruth (Guest): Amen, Brian. But I would modify that a little: All things that He wants or needs us to do; he gives us what is needed to do His Will.

Apr 8, 8:18 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): God Always Equips the Called

Apr 8, 8:20 PM

Ruth (Guest): And you became a powerful witness, Judy. God bless! Yes, Philippians 4:13 has been very important to me at many times in my life.

Apr 8, 8:20 PM

Judy (Guest): I love that quote: God does not call those who are equipped: He equips the called.

Apr 8, 8:21 PM

Ruth (Guest): Yes. AND since he wills the salvation of all; each is called in one way or another, sooner or later.

Apr 8, 8:21 PM

Judy (Guest): And so He is equipping all of us for the missions He wants us to accomplish. He wants all of us to minister to others and we need to know that He will give us all we need to do so.

Apr 8, 8:22 PM

Ruth (Guest): Yup, agreed, Judy

Apr 8, 8:22 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Never thought of going into Prison I was afraid of the thought of going into a prison . God called me into Prison Ministry 10 years ago and had taught me soo much and have experienced Soo many relationships in the Lord . I would have missed out on Soo much if I had rejected the Call

Apr 8, 8:23 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Amen Judy !

Apr 8, 8:23 PM

Judy (Guest): The inmates are lucky to have you, Brian.

Apr 8, 8:23 PM

Ruth (Guest): That is why we can step out in Faith when we “hear His voice.

Apr 8, 8:24 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): I am Blessed to HavenThem Judy they are prayer warriors for us all !!!

Apr 8, 8:24 PM

Ruth (Guest): Excellent example, Brian.

Apr 8, 8:24 PM

Judy (Guest): But like Peter when Jesus asked him to come to Him on the water, we have to keep our eyes on Jesus or will falter.

Apr 8, 8:25 PM

Judy (Guest): I think my fingers work faster than my brain.

Apr 8, 8:25 PM

Ruth (Guest): Yup Blink and Sink, our bishop summarized at a recent retreat.

Apr 8, 8:26 PM

Dawn (Guest): haha

Apr 8, 8:26 PM

Judy (Guest): If someone can figure a way that I can widen the area in which I am typing, it would be great. As I type, what i am typing disappears into the right of the screen.

Apr 8, 8:27 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Soo True Judy ! I love scene in Saint Peter Movie where he has each of the disciples take a turn steering the ship . We are always to pass on what Jesus has taught us to others !!!

Apr 8, 8:27 PM

Dawn (Guest): yes, mine too! so I just write, and send then read it. brave

Apr 8, 8:27 PM

Dawn (Guest): bravery

Apr 8, 8:27 PM

Judy (Guest): There has to be a way to fix it.

Apr 8, 8:28 PM

Ruth (Guest): That was having the same technical problem, Judy. IF you are still able to read the screen at 100%, instead of enlarging the view (zooming) I think that’d work.

Apr 8, 8:28 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Ha Ha Ruth I will share that one Blink and Sink !!!

Apr 8, 8:29 PM

Judy (Guest): How do I do that, Ruth?

Apr 8, 8:29 PM

Dawn (Guest): mine is set at 80 so I can see who is here

Apr 8, 8:30 PM

Ruth (Guest): Look in the upper right hand corner of your screen, if you have a visible bar there. Look for three dots under one another, and click on that.

Apr 8, 8:31 PM

Judy (Guest): Thanks, Ruth, I found and reduced it to 80.

Apr 8, 8:31 PM

Ruth (Guest): A drop down menu should appear. Go to Zoom – on this screen about halfway down. Try clicking on the minus sign until 100% appears – or even 125%.

Apr 8, 8:31 PM

Guest9939 (Guest): Have a Wonderful Week Everyone ! Keep Shining ! God Bless You ! Brian

Apr 8, 8:32 PM

Ruth (Guest): It may still work with 100%.

Apr 8, 8:32 PM

Dawn (Guest): thank you for being here Brian! God bless you

Apr 8, 8:33 PM

Judy (Guest): Blessings everyone. May we all be entirely open to Jesus’ works in us and place ourselves entirely in His hands.

Apr 8, 8:33 PM

Ruth (Guest): Thanks for all you do Brian. I love hearing about lives changed for the better, and you have so many good experiences in your prison ministry.

Apr 8, 8:33 PM

Dawn (Guest): Amen Judy

Apr 8, 8:34 PM

Dawn (Guest): Brian you also have a beautiful week. thank you again

Apr 8, 8:34 PM

Ruth (Guest): Brian, Dawn – and Judy now in absentem – have a blessed week!

Apr 8, 8:35 PM

Dawn (Guest): Thank you Ruth. a blessed week to you! hope it is warming up a bit

Apr 9, 1:07 PM

Si Av: hi
