Baptism is our birth into new life, which means our old life has died. Why do you suppose iy is this way? Why don’t we simply speak in terms of a “fresh start”? Why the language of death and rebirth? Carol Ann: It seems like the death and rebirth accomplishes more than just starting over. We can start again without actually changing ourselves but baptism transforms us

Carol Ann: I think so. I volunteer every year for a colleague’s non profit fund raiser and It is the thank you party. I was thinking it would be good to have somewhere to go on a family day

Carol Ann: It is a disconnect between soul and mind and heart. Prayer is ecstatic but there is no inner transformation.
