The Lead actress, who plays Mother Carmela, Ms. Elisa Franco, says “Tonight at 20,00 pm in Piazza Garibaldi in Rosolini will be screened at first the film “cor Jesus Mecum Est” of r. Garay, shot between Sicily and Argentina.
A job that involved me particularly, a story everyone should know, that of Mother Carmela April, the “Mother of Rosolini”, founder of the Sanctuary of Sacred Heart and many other realities. A wonderful woman to whom I lent my face, entering in tune with all her world, with her soul, with her infinite sweetness; but also with her courage and strength, through which she managed to achieve this What he wanted. An example of pure heart and unconditional faith.
I want to thank the director Roberto Garay who believed in me and with whom a friendship was born that goes beyond work dynamics. Alice Ferlito (as Mariarosa), the wonderful actress, colleague, friend, confidant who supported me even in the most difficult moments, both on the set and outside. Giselle Bagalá, whose presence during filming, was crucial. Franco Andres Ragogna our sound technician, always careful and with a smile ready to loosen any tension. The tireless Forino Nicola and Paolo Di Gabriele, supported by Giuseppe Martorina and Vincenzo Dilorenzo. Rosaria Corrado Ignaccolo our seamstress. Colleagues Friends Fabiana Pagani (Costar of the movie), Enrico Pappalardo, Cristina Tejedor, wonderful actors who along with many others have enriched with their art this beautiful movie. And I thank infinitely the Sisters of the Sacred Heart Sanctuary (Visitandines)who made me feel at home with their affection. And all known friends in this extraordinary path.
A hug to everyone! See you tonight
