The triduum of the Visitation is the “21st century” formula of the traditional Salesian Week. The Visitation Nuns and the diocese of Annecy decided to give it a new form …. and a new date! Here are three days of proposals around the feast of the Visitation, May 31st.
After a test last year, a team is responsible for strengthening the program, to make people want to participate. “The holiday of the Visitation falls during the weekend of the Ascension this year, so we imagined proposals all over the bridge,” explain the team members.
“What St Francis wrote in the sixteenth century is applicable and enlightening in the digital age!”
At the heart of these days: the discovery or deepening of the spirituality of St. Francis de Sales. This saint, patron of the Diocese of Annecy and journalists, is still unknown here.
” It seemed dusty, far away.In looking at him, I discovered a life and writings so modern! A real guide for me today!” says Mélanie Rombaut, one of the organizers. General Approval: “What he writes in the sixteenth century is applicable and illuminating in the digital age!” adds Marie Jaffré, a member of the team
