Translation of Introduction
I would like to speak to pilgrims and the inhabitants of the Diocese of Autun who will celebrate the jubilee of the canonization of St. Margaret Mary.
Listening to some and some of those who know better than me the personality and mission of this Burgundian Saint of the 17th century, a Visitandine at Paray-le-Monial, and reading a few pages written about her, especially the illuminating reflections of Father Edouard Glotin in his book, ” The Bible of the Heart of Jesus”, I have written this pastoral letter.
May the momentum of the Virgin Mary visiting the house where the tears had changed to happiness with the conception of John the Baptist, lead us, like St Margaret Mary, to true joy.
