A new Polish film centers on Father Jan Zieja, (1897-1991) well known in Poland for his pacifist views and the organizations he founded, including the Workers Defense Committee.

He was also the Chaplain to the Visitation Sisters in Warsaw from 1950-1959. The initiative of this film came from Fr. Aleksander Seniuk, current rector of the Church of the Visitation Sisters in Warsaw. Fr. Seniuk feels a bit like an heir to thoughts, sermons, all that his predecessor represented. He is also seeking Fr. Zieja’s beatification process.
