In which ways do you unite your life to Divine Love throughout the day? Ought we offer both our sufferings and joys to God? What benefit could we have in offering our joys? Why should we dedicate each action to God? Is it not enough to generally offer our day to Him? Why should each act be united to God’s love? How do we continually lift up our heart and mind to God throughout our day? Is this possible with tasks that take a lot of mental energy? Can we do this while interacting with others?

VisitationSiste: hello guest 651
Mar 1, 7:28 PM

Mar 1, 7:30 PM
VisitationSiste: Hi Blanca and S Jennifer
Mar 1, 7:30 PM
SrJennifer (Guest): Hello Mother, Brain, Blanca and Guest 651
Mar 1, 7:30 PM
Blanca Villa: Hello everyone!
Mar 1, 7:30 PM
Brian (Guest): Thank You for the Prayers ! One of the Men who has been a Great Leader in the Prison was transferred too another less restrictive prison soo guys adjusted well and the night went very well . Great sharing . Even difficult moments I saw Gods hand intervene !!!! Praise God !!!
Mar 1, 7:31 PM
VisitationSiste: He is so good!
Mar 1, 7:31 PM
Brian (Guest): Amen !!!
Mar 1, 7:31 PM
VisitationSiste: I imagine there are people who do not know that Divine LOve wants to unite with them
Mar 1, 7:32 PM
VisitationSiste: If people really understood what a joyful world would be possible
Mar 1, 7:34 PM
Brian (Guest): The enemy really blinds people who do not know God . That’s why our Faithfulness can be a bright light to allow Jesus to be introduced into someone’s life !
Mar 1, 7:34 PM
VisitationSiste: Being with the prisoners Brian do you think they grasp this?
Mar 1, 7:34 PM
Blanca Villa: Yes, most people think that just believing in God is enough…sometimes it’s difficult to deepen the conversation regarding loving Him above everything.
Mar 1, 7:35 PM
VisitationSiste: Do their hearts want more?
Mar 1, 7:36 PM
Brian (Guest): The Prisoners live in a very hypervigilant environment . They really see those who are really Faithful too God stand out and set a powerful example in their daily actions in a constantly dangerous environment !
Mar 1, 7:37 PM
VisitationSiste: That’s great that they see the difference. How do you lead them to know this can be their interior way
Mar 1, 7:39 PM
Brian (Guest): Listen Listen Love Love . Just by us Faithfully coming in too visit and support their Christian Community !!!
Mar 1, 7:39 PM
VisitationSiste: what a comfort it must be
Mar 1, 7:40 PM
VisitationSiste: Offering sufferings and joys to God is basically offering evrything, dont you think
Mar 1, 7:40 PM
Brian (Guest): Amen !!!
Mar 1, 7:40 PM
Blanca Villa: Yes
Mar 1, 7:42 PM
Brian (Guest): One of the fruits of the Spirit is Longsuffering ! The way we walk with Christ through longsuffering is a powerful witness too believers and too people beginning to walk towards God !!!
Mar 1, 7:43 PM
VisitationSiste: Hi Carroll! Yes and longsuffering is a concept or word we don’t hear much about
Mar 1, 7:44 PM
Guest651 (Guest): Sister Susan Marie ,this is bettychao, you know when I went to the holy land like jerusalem bethehlem and Cana and via dolorsa, we live a big hotel in Jerusalem , we go to holy land with our church father, father Dominic Su. He be our guider. Those people are Philippines they come from other parish and they choose me to pray and guided to say rosary. They didn’t choose my mom they choose me. I don’t know why
Mar 1, 7:44 PM
Carroll V (Guest): Hi everyone-
Mar 1, 7:44 PM
VisitationSiste: God guided their choice, Betty He knows your heart
Mar 1, 7:44 PM
VisitationSiste: Carroll glad you are back
Mar 1, 7:45 PM
VisitationSiste: Do you have the experience of offering every action to God?
Mar 1, 7:45 PM
Carroll V (Guest): Very happy to be back- thank you.
Mar 1, 7:46 PM
Brian (Guest): Hi Blanca , Carroll , and BettyChao ! God Bless You !
Mar 1, 7:46 PM
VisitationSiste: As Visitandines we are to ask for grace before each action
Mar 1, 7:47 PM
VisitationSiste: It is well expalined in our spiritual directory.
Mar 1, 7:47 PM
VisitationSiste: explained
Mar 1, 7:47 PM
Carol Ann: Hi everyone!
Mar 1, 7:48 PM
Brian (Guest): Hi Carol Ann ! God Bless You !
Mar 1, 7:48 PM
Blanca Villa: Can you tell us how you go about it Sister Susan.
Mar 1, 7:48 PM
VisitationSiste: Hi Carol Ann!
Mar 1, 7:48 PM
Carol Ann: Hi Brian, I see how big an impact you must be having on the men in your care
Mar 1, 7:49 PM
Carol Ann: Hi SrvSusan Marie
Mar 1, 7:49 PM
VisitationSiste: It is simple, a moment of silence, and the asking for the grace and the offering of all I will do, or experience
Mar 1, 7:50 PM
Blanca Villa: Thank you
Mar 1, 7:50 PM
Carroll V (Guest): It’s a beautiful practice: asking for purity of intention/ grace before every action… sometimes I find myself asking Our Blessed Mother to transform whatever I am doing into an act of love… when I know I’m falling short…
Mar 1, 7:50 PM
SrJennifer (Guest): Hi, Carol
Mar 1, 7:51 PM
Brian (Guest): Kairos is a Beautiful Christian Community !!! We really Love each other and pray and encourage each other !!! Great Family too be apart of Carol Ann !!!
Mar 1, 7:51 PM
Carol Ann: Hi Sr Jennifer!
Mar 1, 7:53 PM
Carol Ann: Sometimes it is difficult to remember to consecrate each moment. Sometimes I find myself praying for an act after it is done, I am not there anymore but He is and he can use my mistakes too
Mar 1, 7:54 PM
VisitationSiste: and there is no time in God
Mar 1, 7:54 PM
VisitationSiste: with alot of mental type work this offering can get overlooked
Mar 1, 7:55 PM
Brian (Guest): We can really attack those temptations that get thrown at us during this Lentin season . One of the guys suggested just too say Jesus’s name can be enough to shift us away from temptation !!!
Mar 1, 7:55 PM
Blanca Villa: This is especially difficult when there’s a lot of people and noise around.
Mar 1, 7:57 PM
Brian (Guest): Remember HALT we can be at risk when we are Hungry , Angry , Lonely , or Tired !!!
Mar 1, 7:58 PM
Carol Ann: As in HALT and pray!
Mar 1, 7:59 PM
Brian (Guest): Amen !!!
Mar 1, 7:59 PM
VisitationSiste: Great!
Mar 1, 7:59 PM
Blanca Villa: Thanks for that Brian. I’m going to share that acronym.
Mar 1, 8:00 PM
Brian (Guest): Your welcome Blanca !
Mar 1, 8:01 PM
Carroll V (Guest): Yes Blanca. I am making a change from private duty care to returning to wirk as a nurse in a nursing home with short term rehab as well as long term care… I’ve been “spoiled” with quiet space… praying in the midst of work will likely be more challenging amidst the hustle and bustle within s facility.
Mar 1, 8:01 PM
Guest651 (Guest): Dear sister Susan Marie this is bettychao again the protest end Bible is same as catholic bible? But my catholic sisters and my church father father Dominic Su say all is the same? But why some people say is not the same? Please tell me all the details
Mar 1, 8:01 PM
VisitationSiste: I think it is important that God’s love infuses all our actions- and I believe it does if the actions are of God and good.
Mar 1, 8:02 PM
VisitationSiste: The bibles are a little different but I am not familiarwith the Protestant Bible Maybe someone else here can inform you
Mar 1, 8:02 PM
Carol Ann: And if we can create a quiet space in our hearts, a cell for Jesus alone, we can carry our quiet wherever we go
Mar 1, 8:03 PM
Carol Ann: the Catholic Bible has books that the Protestant Bible does not.
Mar 1, 8:05 PM
VisitationSiste: I love the idea of a cell for Jesus alone!
Mar 1, 8:06 PM
Carroll V (Guest): 7 books in Catholic Bible not in Protestant Bibles: Baruch, Judith, 1st and 2nd Maccabees, Sirach, Tobit, and Wisdom.
Mar 1, 8:06 PM
Carol Ann: There are books where the material is accepted as true, but the written origin of a manuscript is not trusted
Mar 1, 8:06 PM
Carol Ann: Thanks Carroll!
Mar 1, 8:06 PM
Carroll V (Guest): Beautiful Carol Ann.
Mar 1, 8:07 PM
Brian (Guest): A few less books but after 911 I bought a King James Bible that helped me too come back too Jesus and eventually back too Catholic Church !!! It was a good resource that helped me on my journey Home and now I have a Catholic Bible !!!
Mar 1, 8:07 PM
VisitationSiste: Wonderful!
Mar 1, 8:08 PM
Carol Ann: Its fun to compare translations
Mar 1, 8:08 PM
VisitationSiste: A good thing to do during Lent is read the Bible- actually anytime is a good time!!
Mar 1, 8:08 PM
Brian (Guest): Amen !!!
Mar 1, 8:08 PM
Carroll V (Guest): When I was a postulant, our Novice Mistress used to say for us to always remain in the cloister of our hearts… your idea of a cell for Jesus is the same, I think. That’s what I cling to here in the world.
Mar 1, 8:09 PM
VisitationSiste: He lives in us!
Mar 1, 8:09 PM
Carol Ann: Yes Carroll, that is what I mean
Mar 1, 8:10 PM

Guest651 (Guest): Dear sr Susan this is bettychao. I think protestend Bible is the same as catholic bible they just missing some books from the Bible but other books are the same. I saw it in my bible because God words can’t change
Mar 1, 8:12 PM
VisitationSiste: There was a woman, now deceased who wrote about the cloistered heart
Mar 1, 8:13 PM
VisitationSiste: Maybe her name was Nancy Fowler- can’t remember There was awebsite too
Mar 1, 8:13 PM
VisitationSiste: Nancy Shuman was her name
Mar 1, 8:14 PM
VisitationSiste: http://www.thecloisteredheart.org/
Mar 1, 8:15 PM
Carol Ann: Yes! I followed her blog in the beginning-I wish someone could repost them. John Michael Talbot also talks about this in his book, The World is my Cloister
Mar 1, 8:15 PM
VisitationSiste: Really How is that book?
Mar 1, 8:16 PM
Carroll V (Guest): That’s beautiful. Thank you Mother Susan Marie… and Holy Mother, St. Jane Frances de Chantal, is the primary patron!
Mar 1, 8:16 PM
VisitationSiste: Sounds very interesting
Mar 1, 8:17 PM
Carroll V (Guest): The website seems to still he up Carol Ann.
Mar 1, 8:17 PM
Carol Ann: Its great. We use it during postulancy, but its great for anyone wishing to walk closervto Jesus
Mar 1, 8:17 PM
VisitationSiste: I can get calls but I am restricting them in Lent
Mar 1, 8:19 PM
Sister Susan Marie (Moderator): The point of cloister is to be alone with the Lord- – does that come out in the book, Carol Anne
Mar 1, 8:20 PM
Carol Ann: Yes, as well as how to carry that quiet within yo: John Michael is thoroughly grounded in monasticism and the desert fathers. u
