In these troubled times, what child does not have the deep desire to take refuge in the arms of a loving, comforting, reassuring mother? Mary is the one we can turn to with confidence to keep our serenity in trials or to implore her when we sink into desolation. His infinite tenderness for each of us is limitless!

May is traditionally the month dedicated to the Blessed Virgin. Mary is by definition the very symbol of purity! Purity of body, soul, spirit, intention … To live this month’s advice, we can therefore refer to Her because no one has a heart as pure and transparent as Her. She is blessed, and whatever trials we go through, we are invited to become blessed with pure hearts too!

Take good care of yourself !

Faithfully in union with all of you,

Blessed pure hearts

“Blessed are pure hearts, for they will see God” So the essential condition for seeing God is the purity of our heart! But how rare are these pure hearts, free from all defilement, purified from any search for themselves, from any self-esteem, from any voluntary imperfection … So many shadows obscure the spiritual mirror of our soul and consequently of our heart. These shadows veil the Face of God and deprive us of his divine gaze.

To have been created in the image of God and to be able to reflect this image to him, what an extraordinary destiny is ours! Too bad we are not always aware of it! Yes Jesus loves who looks like him. The holy parish priest of Ars exclaimed “How beautiful a pure soul is, how beautiful! God takes delight in it, like the bee rolling in the flowers! “

We are well aware, alas, our weakness is great, the breath of evil frequently passes over this pure mirror of our soul and alters its beauty. To restore its radiance, after each fault, let us produce an act of repentance and love which will immediately consume the imperfections. In this way we will keep our hearts clean and pure and God will be able to look at them and delight in them. His gaze will illuminate our soul, purify and ignite it! … and one day, we will see God!
