In a few days we will be celebrating the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Mary has an important place in the life of Saint Marguerite Marie. She will decide to add this second name in thanksgiving for the healing received as a child. She is happy to become a daughter of Mary and Our Lady will have several word to her to encourage her to continue her mission of loving as Jesus loves.
Marguerite Marie will have little specific prayer to the Virgin. She resumed the prayers of her time: angelus, rosary… she encouraged her brother to read the litanies of the Virgin. We also hear her give this encouragement to a young girl: “We must be very faithful to make the little crown of the Blessed Virgin every day, because we could not do an act more pleasing to God than to honor his holy Mother. . “
