Because a Visitation Monastery is located in Rosolini, Italy, every year we announce the annual festivities of the Sacred heart in that magnificent city.

The program of celebrations in honor of the Sacred Heart
From Tuesday 22 to Friday 25 Holy Masses will be celebrated in the church with the maximum number of 100 seats available according to the anti-covid provisions
Sunday 20 September at 7 pm, the solemn chime that will announce the start of the celebrations in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. A feast this year celebrated in a different way, but with the same great ferment as ever.
Due to the anti-covid provisions, Holy Masses, from Tuesday 22 to Friday 25, will be celebrated in the church with a maximum number of 100 seats, while on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 they will be celebrated outdoors, in the courtyard of Villa Watercress.

7 pm: The solemn announcement of the start of the celebrations
TUESDAY 22 SEPTEMBER
6 pm: Chaplet to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
6.30 pm: Eucharistic Celebration of the Parish Community of the Holy Crucifix of Rosolini presided over by the parish priest Sac.Giorgio Parisi
WEDNESDAY 23 SEPTEMBER
6 pm: Chaplet to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
18.30: Eucharistic celebration of the Parish Community of S. Giuseppe Mother Church of Rosolini presided over by the parish priest Sac. Luigi Vizzini
THURSDAY 24 SEPTEMBER
6 pm: Chaplet to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
18.30: Eucharistic celebration of the Parish Community Immaculate Heart of Mary of Rosolini presided over by the parish priest Sac. Alessandro Spatola

6 pm: Chaplet to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
6.30 pm: Eucharistic celebration of the Parish Community of Santa Caterina da Siena of Rosolini presided over by the parish priest Sac. Stefano Trombatore
Following presentation of the new book “Here my sanctuary must rise” ( Qui deve sorgere il mio santuario”)biographical research on Mother Carmela Aprile from Rosolini. Author of the book is Paolo Di Gabriele with a preface by Corrado Baglieri and a presentation by Don Antonio Stefano Modica.
SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER
5.30 pm: Transfer of the Venerable Picture of the Sacred Heart from the Sanctuary to the Church, where it will remain on display for the veneration of the faithful throughout the feast
6 pm: Chaplet to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
18.30: Eucharistic Celebration PRESIDED BY Mons.Angelo Giurdanella, Vicar General of the Diocese of Noto, at the courtyard of Villa Criscione
SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER
Masses will be celebrated in the courtyard of Villa Criscione
4 hours: Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Sac. Giorgio Parisi, Rector of the Sanctuary
5.15 am: Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Sac. Alessandro Paolino on the anniversary of his Priestly Ordinance
6.30 am: Eucharistic celebration presided by the Sac. Davide Baglieri
8 am: Eucharistic celebration presided over by the Sac. Sebastiano Sessa
9 am: Entrance of the folkloristic floats and the musical band for the collection of votive gifts
9.30 am: Eucharistic celebration presided over by Sac. Antonio Stefano Modica
11 am: Eucharistic celebration IN CHURCH presided by the Sac. Giuseppe Di Stefano on the anniversary of his Priestly Ordinance
3 pm: Traditional auction of votive gifts in Piazza Sacro Cuore, where you can sit in the chairs arranged to maintain interpersonal distance (gifts and bread can be requested during the course of the morning to avoid gatherings during the auction sale)
7 pm: Solemn Pontifical chaired by H.E.REV.MA MONS.ANTONIO STAGLIANò, Bishop of Noto, and animated by the choir “Canto in choro” of Pachino directed by Raffaella Salerno
