Monday March 8

But he, passing through the midst of them, was on his way. (Lk 4:30)

Who does not see that the world is like an iniquitous judge: full of indulgence for his children; but hard and relentless for those of God? [ … ]  Let the world shout as much as it wants [ … ]  but we firmly keep the resolution we have taken. (IVD IV, 1)

Lord, You are the way, the truth, and the life.

May I be able around me and beyond to defend the sacredness of life, the dignity of every person and the values of the family, a small domestic Church

Tuesday March 9

May our sacrifice, on this day, find grace before you … (Dn 3, 40)

He was therefore the priest of his sacrifice, he offered himself to his Father, he sacrificed himself from love to love, in love, out of love, for love . (TAD X, 17)

Lord, at each Eucharist, may my soul, aware of this magnificent gift, rejoice and give you thanks.

I commit to living this sacrament as often as possible

Wednesday March 10

Glorify the Lord, Jerusalem! (Ps 147.12)

Preserve a spirit of holy joy which, modestly poured out over your actions and words, gives consolation to good people who see you, so that they may glorify God (Mt 5,16; 1 P 2,12), which is our only claim. (To Mme de la Fléchère, August 1608)

Lord, allow me to be able to bear witness to Your strengthening presence which makes me acquiesce to Your will even in times of trial.

“I want to sing of your love Lord, every moment of my life…” and enthusiastically praise You.

Thursday March 11

Let us worship the Lord who made us. (Ps 94, 6)

O abyss of divine perfections! O God! how wonderful you are, then, to possess in one perfection the excellence of all perfection, and in such an excellent manner, that no one can understand it except yourself! (TAD II, 1)

Lord, You don’t need our love but You let us open our hearts and our lips to praise You.

I will take a time before the Blessed Sacrament to abandon myself to your love.

Friday March 12

I will cure them of their infidelity (Hos 14, 5)

God desires fidelity to the little things that He puts in our power more from us than ardor in the big things that do not depend on us. (Letter to Mlle de Soulfour, April-May 1603)

Lord, enlighten us to understand where our state duty lies in the midst of all the requests that come to us and give us the strength to privilege it and accomplish it.

I will take advice from my accompanist or my spiritual father to help me discern if necessary.
