“You have come to make your offerings under the protection of the glorious mother of the Mother of God, who, like a mother pearl, comes in the middle of the sea of this world without receiving any drop of salty water, I mean, without being in any way watered by the vain earthly pleasures, having always lived very healthily in the practice of all the virtues. Do not doubt that she will take you under her protection, if you come to make your offerings with humility and courtly simplicity, since it is these virtues, joined to those of faithfully following the attractions and the celestial inspirations, which have the most shine.During the course of her mortal life; virtues which undoubtedly made her merit being privileged, after her most sacred daughter, of more graces than any other woman, and in particular of belonging so closely to the humanity of Our Lord.
