Today is the Feast of St Francis de Sales and we begin the Jubilee Year in honor of the 400th anniversary of his passing.
Here is the special prayer for this year:
Merciful Father, you gave Saint Francis de Sales to your Church as a pastor ablaze with the Love of the Heart of your Son and a spiritual master of knowledge in love with your divine mystery. Grant us the grace to let us be drawn with him into the blazing brazier of your Trinitarian communion, through the Heart of Jesus, meek and humble, so that we can cooperate by all our life with the work of your divine love, in us, between us and in all of creation.
Through the intercession of St Francis de Sales and in the glorious name of Jesus, your Son and our Savior, we ask you for the grace of . . .
