After a few summer weeks of relative carelessness, we are already plunged back into the constraints and uncertainties of the world. Rather than indulging in worries of all kinds and sometimes irrational fears, let us plunge our hearts into the One of Jesus, for only there reigns true peace. This is the invitation that our founder gives us for this month and to which I also invite you.

If in the material order war is the most terrible of all evils, on the other hand, peace is the most precious good of all goods. Thus, and even better, it is of the spiritual order. A soul that has not tamed its passions, uprooted its evil inclinations, triumphed over its internal enemies, is sustaining a grueling inner war.
Quite different is the state of a soul who, by force of struggles and victories, has conquered peace with God, with neighbor and with itself. If the first is like a rough sea, upset by a thousand storms, the second resembles a peaceful lake where God comes to reflect his Face. From the soft atmosphere that envelops it, exhales the fragrance of all virtues. This blessed soul is cradled in the arms of the Lord, she rests there like a beloved child, it is the foretaste of paradise.
But let us not forget, this peace is the fruit of war, we must want to fight to acquire it and keep it! The Lord Himself gave this peace to His apostles after His resurrection. He wishes it for each Guard of Honor so that all radiate it around them. ( Sœur Marie du Sacré Cœur Bernaud)
