Is this similar to when we talk about the “one heart” of Jesus and Mary (from St. John Eudes), or does it mean something even deeper for them? Why is it important for Christians to be of one heart and one mind? Can’t we just believe in Jesus and have our own opinions about baptism and salvation and Church authority? St. Francis tells St. Jane to stay close to her angel. How can we do this? What role does our angel play in our lives?
