Sunday December 15

God is here, he has not withdrawn from the world, he has not left us alone, even if we do not know how to touch him or to
touch him as is the case with sensible realities, he is here and comes to make us feel different.

Monday December 16

“Advent” also includes that of visitation, which simply and
precisely means “visit”; in this case, it is a visit from God to me and is intended to be addressed to me.

Tuesday December 17

Advent as “presence”: this unique time when we begin, we can stop in silence to understand a presence.
It is an invitation to understand that each event of the day is a sign that God addresses to us, a sign of the
attention he has for each one of us. How many times God makes us perceive a sign of his love |

Wednesday December 18

According to Saint Francis de Sales, for this presence to reach us, God had to have an “ecstasy.” He who dwelt in Him,
in the eternal happiness of his divine Being, came out of Himself through love, and came to dwell among
us, made Man among men. This will happen liturgically again. There will be an ecstasy of God.

Thursday December 19

He will come out of Himself through the mystery of our being and of His Birth, and will come to dwell in me in the
concrete reality of this year.

Friday December 20

To let ourselves be reached we will need a great silence, which frees us from everything that could
prevent me from listening to this Word that is going to be pronounced. Advent invites us and encourages
us to listen to the Lord who is present.

Saturday December 21

The certainty of his presence will help us to see the world with
different eyes and to consider our entire existence as a “visit”, as a way in which he can come to us and
become close to us, in every situation.
