The Superior of the Visitation of Annecy informs the entire Order of the five visions of a Sister whose name she withholds, and to whom Jesus asked for a renewal of devotion to his Heart and the spread of his cult. This is what triggered the creation and dissemination of the Safeguards at the Visitation of Nantes.
April 4, 1851: Profession of Sister Marie du Sacré-Cœur Bernaud, nun of the Visitation of Bourg-en-Bresse, founder of the Guard of Honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
April 18: Good Friday. Around 4:00 p.m., the presumed moment of the lance thrust, all the Guards of Honor gather in spirit at the foot of the Cross to offer to the Father in Heaven, for the Holy Church, the Blood and Water flowing from the wound in the Heart of Jesus (Article 7 of the Statutes of the Guard of Honor).
April 19, 1665: Canonization of Saint Francis de Sales, founder of the Order of the Visitation of Saint Mary, by Pope Alexander VII.
April 20, 1914: Mystical marriage of the Servant of God Mother Maria-Angelica Alvarez Icaza, Religious of the Visitation of Mexico.
