The decisive turning point came during a stay at the Shrine of Notre-Dame du Laus in 2023, where the couple participated in a vigil of consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This event marked a point of no return for the Gunnells. Back in Paris, they found that not a day went by without them receiving a sign from the Sacred Heart. Convinced that Jesus was asking them to make a film on this theme, they embarked on the adventure of producing the feature film “Sacred Heart: His Reign Has No End”. This project takes on all the more meaning as it coincides with the jubilee of the 350th anniversary of the apparitions of the Sacred Heart to Marguerite Marie Alacoque in Paray-le-Monial.
The year 2025 marks a decisive milestone for the couple. While their film project on Colonel Arnaud Beltrame was cancelled without explanation, they found a new lease of life with the film on the Sacred Heart. Thanks to a partnership with the Canal+ group, which undertook to broadcast the film after its theatrical release and to finance part of the project, the dream became reality. The contract signed with Canal+ covers part of the costs, but there are still funds to be raised before the release of the film. This production, supported by a budget of €350,000, symbolises a true divine mission for them.
