What led you to Christ and His Church?

The Son of God beckons gently, and souls respond. How were you called to Christ and his Church? Were you a “cradle Catholic” who simply took in the faith with your mother’s milk, and grew in grace day by day? Or were you a St. Augustine, who sinned greatly and finally admitted his pride and converted? Or a St. Paul, who filled with misguided zeal, was graced with an overwhelming presence of Christ and brought to the truth?

No matter what your path, share it with others at the Living Jesus Chat Room this Sun., Sept. 9 at 8 pm Eastern Time. (Note time change from 7:30 pm for this week.) Sr. Roberta will be the moderator and will lead the discussion on “How Were You Led to Believe in Christ and His Church?”
Thoughts to consider will be: Why were you chosen to be in this time and place to receive God’s grace? What would have happened had you lived elsewhere, and not been exposed to this opportunity? What made you choose Christ and his Church? Have you lost your first fervor?
Also to be considered are: What should be our approach to others around us who seem to have not received these graces? What can keep you on the right path now? How will you persevere until the end?
